For the facade of the precast concrete plant in Grossingen, Germany, Schöck Isolink® fiberglass fastenerswere used, which ensures high energy efficiency even with thinner insulation layers.

Fibreglass plays a key role in supporting the optimum energy efficiency of a building by breaking thermal bridges in the clamping of the façade system.

The facade anchors are made of fiberglass, Combar, which is specially developed and manufactured by Schöck.

Due to its low thermal conductivity, thermal bridges can be minimised.

In addition, the material has a high load-bearing capacity. Ensuring adequate thermal insulation and avoiding the formation of thermal bridges are important considerations when designing a building.
